Saucony Kinvara 5

  • Light, Comfy and I wish they lasted forever

Saucony Kinvara 5 shoes This shoe is my jam! Much better then the the Kinvara 4. The upper is more plushy and the side heel part now has some cushion instead of just a piece of fabric. I’ve used these for multiple 10 - 17 mile trail runs as well as my daily pavement runs and it performs well in either condition. The shoe comes with a new “pro lock” lacing system that seems to keep the laces locked in. The only thing that caused me to give this shoe four stars instead of five is how long the shoes last. I have around 200 miles on my pair and they don’t feel as good as they did the first 100 miles. Some of the cushion is gone and so I use them as my second rotational pair of shoes. If Saucony could find a way to keep the sole of this shoe fresh for at least 300 miles then I would probably never buy any other shoe. Last but not least I want to mention that the shoe is priced at $100 which is cheap compared to the price of most shoes being above $120 these days.
